Recipe ingredients
- 5 boneless, chicken breasts
- 1 cup fried almonds
- 1/4 cup chopped mushrooms, canned
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter
Recipe method
- Melt butter in a pot. Add flour then milk.
- Mix mushrooms with celery, salt, grated cheese and almonds.
- Add mushroom mixture to flour mixture. Mix well.
- Stuff each chicken piece with 1 tablespoon or more of stuffing. Stitch well.
- Brush each piece with some butter.
- Arrange in a greased oven tray.
- Place in a moderate heat oven for 1 hour or until tender.
- Serve hot accompanied with chicken sauce, boiled vegetables and cooked rice.
