Vegetable rolls recipe

Recipe ingredients

  • 8 filo pastries
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 3/4 cup grated onions
  • 1 cup thin cabbage strips
  • 1 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe method

  • Spread filo pastries, cut each in half in order to get 16 peices.
  • Fry all ingredients in 1/4 cup of oil for 5 minutes over low heat. Stir.
  • Remove and put aside.
  • Put some vegetable mixture on the smooth side of each filo.
  • Fold sides and roll neatly.
  • Fry in hot oil over medium heat till golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
