Lemon chess pie
Ingredients:
2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon flour
1 teaspoon cornmeal
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup milk
4 eggs
1 unbaked 9″ pie shell
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine sugar, flour, cornmeal and salt.
Add the melted butter, lemon rind, lemon juice and milk. Mix well.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Pour into an unbaked 9″ pie shell and bake for 50 minutes.
