- 10 ounces soba (buckwheat) noodles
- 10-ounce package frozen shelled edamame
- 3 clove garlic
- 1 2-inch piece ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Sriracha (Asian chile sauce)
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Juice of 1 lime or lemon
- 1 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil, plus more for drizzling (optional)
- 1/2 pound medium or large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Salt for taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro and/or scallions
- 500 gm Basmati Rice.
- 400 gm. Moogdal (green gram) spilled.
- 2 tbsp or 10-grams turmeric powder
- 4 gm. Hing (asafoetida) or as per taste/ pungent, spicy taste of dish depends upon the content of hing during preparation.
- 5 gm. Himalaya salt
- 20 gm. ghee (clarified butter)
- 500 ml water.
- 5 gm. jeera. (Cumin)
